HDC, through the production of Spider Screw®, has made its mark in the field of orthodontics, positioning itself as a leader in the production of devices for Skeletal Anchorage. It currently boasts the most comprehensive system in the miniscrew sector, leading to the prestigious FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approval.
The geometry of SPIDER SCREW® is the result of meticulous design in every detail of its three components: ORTHODONTIC HEAD, TRANSMUCOSAL COLLAR, and INFRAOSSEOUS PORTION. Various designs of orthodontic heads have been developed to meet different clinical needs, along with transmucosal collars of different lengths to adapt to the mucosal portion. The infraosseous portion of Spider Screw® features a self-drilling and self-tapping thread and is available in a wide range of sizes.
SPIDER SCREW® is presented as a non-osseointegrable device and therefore should be loaded at the time of its application. This type of anchorage allows the Orthodontist to achieve controlled dental movement and avoid undesired reactions.
Dental implants, all manufactured in Titanium grade 4 or grade 5, come in various types to meet the diverse needs and preferences of clinicians.
All implants are self-tapping with BLE BoneLock Etching treatment. This treatment, developed by HDC, achieves an ideal surface micro-roughness through a series of steps in etching acids.
The surgical phase, simplified by the self-tapping construction that eliminates the need for tapping in most cases, adheres to well-known codified protocols. Special attention is dedicated to decontamination and sterilization processes.
